As we prepare for the 13th annual AOF Action On Film International Film Festival we would like to take the time to look back and recognize significant individuals. Individuals who have been a part of this community for a number of years. We are naming them as the first members of the "AOF Legends Society". These individuals have put forth tireless work, maintained integrity, honour, and great work ethics throughout the years. They have set the bar to guide the future of AOF.
About the "AOF Legends Society"?
At AOF we recognize the importance of tradition, trust, and community. It is our goal to strive for perfection. AOF has been named one of the best Festival Experiences in the world. This is all made possible thanks to the astonishing work these people have put forth.
"AOF Legends Society" Members are fantastic artists who have been an integral part of the community over the years. They have given back unconditionally for the art of filmmaking and possess the passion and the eye for great films. They are the epitome of AOF's past, present, and future.
Michelle Muldoon (Writer/Director) and Stan Harrington (Filmmaker/Writer/Performer/Author) are the first members commissioned as a part of this year's judging panel. As an "AOF Legends Society" Member they are entrusted to jury films for the festival, score specific categories for awards. They will hold a voice in the decision making process for the future of AOF as well as possess the authority to nominate other Legends Members.
AOF has touched, influenced, and inspired thousands of people over the last decade. Along with the AOF Legends we will roll up our sleeves, take out our cameras and pens to propel into the next decade as the leading platform to showcase industry talent and connect all filmmakers.
